Bullying doesn’t always leave bruises, but it breaks something deeper.

A child's self-worth, peace of mind, and even their will to live can quietly shatter under the weight of repeated cruelty.

In Malaysia, bullying in schools has become a rising concern. From cruel name-calling to violent physical assaults, children are suffering in silence.

While many see bullying as just hitting or kicking, the truth is much darker and far-reaching. There are many forms, physical attacks, verbal abuse, social exclusion, online humiliation, sexual harassment, and prejudice-based bullying. Each one leaves a scar, some invisible, but all painful.

Today’s digital age has given bullies unlimited access to their victims, especially through cyberbullying.

Unlike traditional bullying, it follows them home, haunts their phones, and strikes when they’re most vulnerable. The emotional damage can be devastating.

Depression. Self-harm. Even $uicide .

But the saddest part is this: many victims never tell a soul. They carry the pain alone, believing no one would understand or help.

This must stop. Every parent, teacher, and community member has a role to play.

We cannot stay silent. Not when over 85% of victims suffer long-term psychological effects. Not when lives are at stake.

It’s time to listen. It’s time to act. Because every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued, no matter who they are or where they come from.
